Business consulting in Poland: frequently asked questions
The most common questions about business consulting in Poland for B2B companies: how we work, who we work with, what it costs, and why we stay through implementation rather than just handing over a report.
Business consulting – the basics
What does B2B business consulting involve?
B2B business consulting means working directly with the owner or management team to identify what is really blocking the company’s growth, then building a concrete action plan: strategy, a sales model and a way into new markets. We don’t stop at a deck of recommendations, we stay through implementation, because results come from execution, not from the report. In practice we work in three areas: strategy, B2B sales development and market entry.
How is business consulting different from training or coaching?
Business consulting differs from training and coaching because we work on your company’s specific problem, not on the team’s general skills. Training transfers knowledge, coaching develops a person, and consulting delivers a ready solution: analysis, strategy and an implementation plan grounded in your market situation. If you need someone to sit down with your numbers and your reality and say what to do next, that is consulting.
When should a company hire a business consultant?
A company should hire a business consultant when it wants to grow but isn’t sure in which direction, or why its current efforts aren’t working. Companies usually come to us in three situations: sales have stalled despite a good product, there is no coherent growth strategy, or a move into a new market is planned. The earlier an outside view looks at the problem, the less later decisions cost.
Cost of working together
How much does business consulting cost in Poland?
The cost of business consulting in Poland depends on the scope of the project, so we set it individually after a first, free conversation. A one-off strategy is priced differently from a multi-month market entry project with implementation. We invoice in Polish zloty (PLN) and always agree the scope and price before we start, so there are no surprises. The simplest way to begin is a free conversation.
What does the cost of working with a consultant depend on?
The cost of working with a consultant depends mainly on the scope and duration of the project. Four things drive it: how complex the problem is, whether you need strategy only or also implementation, how many markets are involved, and how long the engagement runs. A one-off strategy project is priced differently from ongoing monthly support.
How we work
What does working with the nech look like?
Working with the nech starts with a free conversation in which we learn your situation and check whether we can realistically help. From there it runs in four steps: diagnosis (analysis of the company and market), strategy (a concrete plan), implementation (we build it with you) and adaptation (adjusting course based on results). Strategy sets the direction, execution reaches it, and adaptation keeps the company on the road.
How long does it take to develop a business strategy?
Developing a business strategy usually takes from a few to several weeks, depending on the size of the company and the amount of data to analyse. A simple growth strategy for a smaller company can take 3-4 weeks, while a full strategy with market analysis and a market entry plan takes 2-3 months. We always match the pace to how quickly the company can implement decisions.
What does the first consultation look like?
The first consultation is free and exists so that both sides can check whether working together makes sense. We talk about your company, your goals and what is blocking growth today, with no obligation and no sales pitch. If we see that we can help, we present a proposed scope and next steps. You can book the conversation through the contact form.
Who we work with
Who is the nech for?
the nech is for B2B companies that already have a working business and want to grow in a structured way. We most often work with small and medium-sized companies where the owner or management makes the decisions, as well as with foreign companies entering the Polish market. We don’t do consumer sales, we focus only on businesses that sell to other businesses.
Does business consulting make sense for a small company?
Yes, business consulting makes sense for a small company, as long as it already has revenue and genuinely wants to grow. For smaller companies a single good strategic decision, about the market, the offer or the way they sell, often turns into results faster than in a large organisation. We work concretely, so even a limited budget can be aimed where it does the most.
Do you help foreign companies enter the Polish market?
Yes, helping foreign companies enter the Polish market is one of our core areas. We support companies from Western Europe, Scandinavia and the US with market analysis, building an entry strategy and launching B2B sales in Poland. We also work with Ukrainian companies entering the Polish and EU markets, and being based in Warsaw we understand both the local reality and the perspective of a company coming in from outside.
Experience and trust
Which markets do you have experience in?
We have hands-on experience in nine markets: Poland, Ukraine, Spain, Italy, France, Latvia, the US, Canada and the United Arab Emirates. Based in Warsaw, we work with companies across Poland and also support expansion into European and further markets. This means we understand not only the Polish reality but also the challenges of companies entering new foreign markets.
What languages do you work in?
We run projects in three languages: Polish, English and Ukrainian. This lets us work directly with Polish companies, with international teams and with Ukrainian companies, without intermediaries or anything lost in translation. For a company entering the Polish market it means one person on both language sides.
How is the nech different from large consulting firms?
the nech differs from large consulting firms in that we work practically and stay through implementation, instead of delivering a thick report and closing the project. We don’t send a team of juniors, the client works with someone who has real business and international experience. Behind the projects stands Dima V. Nechyporenko, who personally leads the work and is accountable for its outcome.
Location
Do you provide consulting in person in Warsaw or online?
We provide business consulting both in person in Warsaw and online, depending on what works best for the client. We have an office in Warsaw, so we meet companies from the region on site, and we work remotely with clients from across Poland and abroad. The format doesn’t affect the quality, what matters is what we actually implement.
Where is the nech’s office located?
the nech’s office is located in Warsaw, at ul. Williama Lindleya 16. From here we work with companies across Poland and with international clients. To arrange a meeting, a short message through the contact form is enough.
Have a question that isn’t here?
The best answers come from a conversation about a specific company. Tell us your situation and we’ll come back with specifics.
